I'm looking for an automatic car starter for someone's birthday, for a 2007 GS sedan (manual).

Are there auto remote starters for manual transmission? That might be a dumb question, but I've never bought a starter before.

Any suggestions of particular brands and models would be appreciated!

Cheers

Compustar is known to be a reliable brand. Check out our sponsors, Audio Heaven is offering some specials for remote starters.

Depends on what you're looking for. Do you have an automatic or manual? Mazda offers one that's warranty friendly but only on automatic vehicles.

$450 + tax or so... installed.

Only nice feature over compustar is press start twice and it will also turn on your rear defrost / heated mirrors.

My wife has the OEM Mazda starter (automatic)

My 3 has the Compustar Pro (5 speed manual) love it btw.

I've used Autopage for about 3 years now.
