Wow that's the first Mazdaspeed3 Axela I've seen.
That flare looks out of place but nice spoiler Peter.

Actually wouldn't cause the front to lift a little... I thought the Speed3 had enough wheel hop.
Now on the side note, it does look good.. Hey Peter, hows about you make another GT Sedan lip.. Please.. Just one?
Honestly, I think it looks good. I'm sure it looks better when you look at it as a whole.
Its a cheaper way of getting yourself a AutoEXE style hatch spoiler!!!

Maybe for summer? When I could invest in it ;)

i don't doubt that it looks nice.
only thing i'm not sure about is how at the end of the lip... it's doesn't seem to "merge/blend" with the existing spoiler
it just kinda clunks on and has a hard curved edge...
anyone else notice the "bumper spoiler piece" attached in the 2nd picture? hehe

Rear spoilers also benefit FWD cars in fast cornering...

Yeah after you swap your GT one for a MS3 spoiler.:chuckle
Peter didn't you have a replica Mazdaspeed lip spoiler for the regular GT?

I was just going to make the same point. I agree that this thing looks kinda silly, but to suggest that FWD cars have no use for spoilers is just plain ridiculous. Let's just nip that one in the bud. :)

the sti forums had a bunch of information showing what there spoiler does and it did have some benefit, i am not conviced that the ms3 spoiler does much other then look nice.
not disagreeing that a spoiler can help a fwd, just don't believe the lap times with it on or off would make any difference at a track

Oh sure... I'm not suggesting that these spoilers actually do anything of value other than look fancy, but there's a comment above talking about RWD traction.
The implication is that FWD cars don't need traction or perhaps we should all have spoilers mounted on the hood or something. :chuckle

well actually a spoiler won't help a rwd or awd car off the line either... drive train configuration is irellevant since spoilers only come into their operational range at higher speeds and it is front/rear grip or stabilty that the spoiler is helping with which a fwd may need as much as a rwd car albeit rwd is more suceptable to tail happy corner exits in the first place
