As most of you know, Xenonmods.com is the place to get caliper decals when painting your calipers. So, in preparation of painting mine this spring, I ordered stickers from Xenonmods exactly 2 weeks ago today, paid with Paypal. I received a paypal email stating Xenonmods has been paid, etc.

One week later, upon not receiving anything in the mail yet, I sent Xenonmods an email asking if the stickers have been shipped. It was ignored. I sent a second email a couple days later, and finally got a response: 'We send packages the next day after payment is received. Were you directed to the thank you for ordering page, and get a receipt email?' How does that answer my question? I immediately responded, telling him the only email I got was from paypal stating he has been paid, and asked him if he actually received this payment and again, when will the stickers ship? That email again was ignored.

Last night I sent another email, telling him if I don't hear back from him by today (two weeks after I ordered) I will have to open a dispute through paypal.

Anyone else have a similar experience with Xenonmods?

Wow that is really odd. Especially for a product that doesn't cost a whole heck of a lot of money.

often times with paypal, if the paypal payment process doesn't return you to the vendor's page (or even if it does), the payment won't be sent to the vendor. in essence, paypal has taken your money but has not passed it on to the vendor.

which is why he's asking if you did see the "thank you for ordering" page and a receipt email from them (not paypal). forward him the paypal receipt with the paypal reference number and have xenonmods do some investigation on their end.

this exact same thing happened to me with a recent paypal order (not to xenonmods.com though).

as for the part with xenonmods.com not responding to you, i have no answer for that.

Wow, XenonMods still has sh*tty service and delivery problems huh? I remember hearing all the problems people had in the Grand Prix forums I used to frequent when I owned one. People were having problems as far back as 3 years w/ these guys. Everything from being scammed out of money, to extremely long delivery times and getting the run-around from the service reps.

What do you know, the stickers were in the mailbox today... so he obviously got the payment. Why didn't he say so in an email. Last night's email wasn't responded to yet, making 4 emails in total that were ignored.

Good to hear that you got them finally.

I'll try to avoid them from now on.

I sent him an email letting him know I got the stickers. Probably ignore that one too.

When anything is being shipped from outside Canada, I usually give it atleast two weeks to arrive, unless of course you paid for express shipping. As long as you have proof of payment, you are usually okay and with the time of year, I am sure you are in no rush.

It was sent regular letterpost mail, which only takes a couple of days, so if it was in fact sent the next day after payment, it wouldn't have taken 2 weeks.
