aftermarket radiator?

has anyone found any benefit to using this? i don't know how much weight you can lose if any, or if ours is already pretty good. i'm trying to save my weight and keep things cool :)

You can get performance rads, they are smaller and lighter... suposed to do the job even better too...

I know alot of buddies with project cars (i used to be one of them) that use Koyo rads (which are made of Aluminum) and are suposed to desperce heat around 25% better than OEM...

Also know a few guys that run Mishimoto rads and say they work jsut as well as Koyo... but I haven't had any direct experience with them....

Yea definately. Some of the guys go for a smaller sized rad vs OEM because it has better performance. Reasoning is if they are 25% more effective you can have a 25% smaller rad that does just as good of a job (and it did as far as any of us could tell no over heating under heavy/hard use). But for mine I stuck with the same size as my oem one. Its the kind of thing you don't really see its doing anything better than stock... the times you can tell something has changed with your rad is when its NOT doing what its suposed to.. lol.

But yea look into Koyo, highly recommended.

MKFC seems like he is... and rads always wear out and its not to pricey of an upgrade so never know.. post a price u may sell a couple.

Ya they don't seem to keep on top of the website... i know a few ppl that have them with cars not on the product list on the site. Kinda silly on the part of the company not to update... seeing as how many people buy and research online these days.
