Did you replace boot with short shifter?

For those who installed a short sifter, did you also replace the boot?

Will the extra slack get caught in anything and rip?
Does the extra slack look bad?

Yes I got the TWM boot.

The stock boot looks like crap with a SS. The TWM boot looks perfect with the TWM shifter.

Plus you can get choices of colours.

Yes, with coloured stitching. It was on the TWM group buy.

I've heard that if you fold down the top of the stock boot, it will look much much better then having it all scrunched up. Each to their own.

I have a regular length boot from Redline Goods with a Mazdaspeed shifter, looks fine.

I have the regular boot with the SS and the boot ripped, gotta replace it soon.
