So I guess you just took the one they had on the lot right? Black is cool. Actually, the Speed 3 looks good in any of the avail. colours.

There were only 3 whites in Ontario..... 2 got taken the day she checked and the other isn't available.... something to do with it being a demo with a lot of K and also won't give me a good financial rate. My Belleville dealer had to get the black one from Toronto. I would've taken a 2008.5 but they have just arrived in Vancouver and the financing rate would be higher.

I'm not suprised to hear about the limited availibility of the '08 model. I wonder what the exact number of remaining Speed 3's is listed at. At least you got one with 0% financing b/c it's such an amazing deal.:) How are they going to transfer the car to you? There's a lot of km between the 2 cities.

Belleville dealer is picking it up. It already had 2500km on it but you know dealers they "can't" lower the price. So I got them to toss in free Mazdaspeed all weather mats. I went for the 7 year 2.9 financing. I wanted the option to have a lower payment in a month. I could always put a lump sum down to pay it off faster. The other black was in North Bay and they were going to charge me more to get it. So I settled for the 2500 k .... hell its still under full warranty.

no way, are you serious, dont take that "DEMO"!! i got few free oil changes and all weather mats on 45km with 0% / 60 month, and i wasnt very happy about the mileage.

45km is no a lot. 2500km is not bad either as long as they are selling it to you for a little less than MSRP. Can't ask for too much of a discount since it's one of the few remaining 08's. I wonder if your black Speed 3 was the one being used as a demo at Downtown Mazda.

Probably is from downtown mazda. I did get $1500 off anyway (plus don't have to pay that extra $200 for the white I originally wanted)... with only a few left.... I'm not going to argue and let someone else take it. The 2008.5's have a higher interest rate. If I waited and had to take one of those it would cost me more money. I'm not gonna quarrel over a few bucks. 2500 km is nothing to worry about........ I had 14000 on my Probe which was a demo. I plan on getting a couple of free oil changes when I sit down to finalize the deal.

I'm curious also. Does anyone know the actual invoice $ on the Speed 3 from a credible source? Obviously, I didn't bother researching this detail before I got mine.

2500km? It should be less than invoice not less than MSRP.

2500km is a demo, there is no way that it should be considered new at this point.

I would even take the VIN to the MTO and see if it has been registered to someone already.

They said its coming from Toronto. What do you think I should be paying for it Jeff? I originally had the white price at $30,095 before tax and all the junk. I'll ask for the VIN tomorrow. I'm bringing my old truck plates back so I'll be there anyway.

That is way too much money in my opinion. with that mileage you should be paying no more than $27,000.

Well they could also call it a used car and the financial rate could be way higher.... then it would end up being same amount of money.

Picked my new Black MS3 today...... geez I love it. Wouldn't mind the tires being a little stickier for 1st and 2nd gear though. :)

they aren't meant for below 45f and there is lots of salt and sand on the roads, stock power stock wheels and july you'll be wishing for more power since they grip to well :chuckle

lol good to know. I gotta get rid of the stock air intake though. I've had many suggestions on which route to go. I'll just have to make a decision once I start work.

would your normal full coverage warranty be extended out to 82,5 km and maybe an extra month or two added on since you've boughten the car with so much km on it already....of course we all hope nothing goes wrong at all but i'm just more curious what happens in this situation since there classifying it as a"new car"

Except they to tend delay things. But that could also be considered as a good thing, because they are running thorough QAs, identifying issues and actually fixing them. :)
