I've seen Cavaliers faster than that. I can't believe for a second that this is the best anyone's done so far with an MS3. :)

and they're illegal or not?? i read somewhere that certain colors are not legal?

Or a $15.00 can of VHT Niteshades and a $10.00 can of clearcoat and you can do it yourself.

In my defence, the screws were old/rusted, couldn't take the taillights of the car, so that's what I had to work with. But MUCH better if you could get them off the car.

I can't imagine they're illegal, since side markers aren't required to have on cars. Just like my civics taillights, the signal still comes out bright amber.

I've never heard of people getting nailed for side tinted lights, only front and rear light issues :)

im pretty sure i dynoed mine at 301whp at magnus motorsports... guess i gotta get my track slips this summer to see if my driver mod can beat his haha

18PSI and 24" wide slicks (prob shave .5 of a second)make a huge difference

my point is anyone with slicks will beat that time EXAMPLE last time i went to the track a srt4 was running high 11s with slicks then he put his summers on to go against me and he ran low 13s

theres also claims of 450hp speed 3s in florida, but those are also claims

Dude - Just change the title. Without any proof that this is the fastest Mazdaspeed3 in Canada, the title is controversial.

No doubt that it's fast and on the right track. But fastest is a serious claim.

The biggest difference is traction. The only reason the speed6 runs a faster 1/4 mile (stock) is because of AWD. The speed3 makes pretty much the same power as the speed6, but is a couple hundred pounds lighter.

there is also a non speed mazda3 (sedan) with the hiboost kit making something like 580whp. but i tihnk hes in puerto rico or somewhere.
