This is by far one of the coolest pumps I have ever seen. Wish I had my camera with me. N-E ways, first off the machine was free (hate when they charge for air). You select the tire pressure you want, then you start pumping up your tires, when the desired pressure is reached, the machine beeps, if you go over the desired pressure, it will let air out for you. This was at the Danforth and Woodbine location, haven't seen this anywhere else yet.

I've never heard of these before. Sounds like it's too good to be true. I will definitely check it out. Might eliminate the need for a tire pressure gauge. Thanks for letting us know.

im going to have to bump that up to at least over a year. i remember first using one at the petro can at centennial pkwy and queenston last winter. checking with a decent pressure gauge afer the pumps are decently accurate too.

Been at the one near my place for a little over a year - one thing i've found is that the built-in guage is 2-3PSI off from traditional gauges. Thats the case with the one here anyway...

Probably even longer then that, the one at Kennedy and Hwy 7 had it since they rebuilt.

Here's a question, I am hearing that the air Pump at Gas stations are generally a few PSI's off, but what are we comparing this to, the $10-$15 gauges we buy from Can Tire? I bought one from there, and somehow I can't keep but thinking which unit is off, the one from the gas stations (Petro) or the one I bourght (Can Tire).

What do you guys think?

I thought the same thing, and brought out 3 different gauges with me. Yes, i'm a nutjob. Anyhoo, I pumped to 35PSI according to the built-in gauge, and measured with a guage that looks like a mini-yardstick, one that looks like a stopwatch, and one of those new-fangled digital ones. They all read around 32 on the dot.

But this is of course only at the station by my house. Results may vary. Side effects may include drowsiness, vomiting, dia...

Sorry, I didn't get much sleep last night + gym @ 6AM = coo-coo...

hope you guys aren't travelling too far to top up your tires. the psi on the jams are for a cold tire, that's why i got a portable pump from canadian tire when they had that sale a few weeks back.

Talk to the manager at gas station, because that not right, It should be accurate. I always use digital air pump and then went to the dealer for service, got accurate reading just like at the pump yay me!
