View Full Version : Grrr!
I'm so fed up with ignorant people :flaming I recently posted on another site, if they were in the Brampton area, if they saw us last night @ Shoppers World. It was strictly friendly, Not offending anyone in the car forums, until I get stupid remarks like this.
" lol at 6 semi-stock 3's "
" Mazda's blow.
Seeing a Hummer meet, Domestic Muscle car meet, porshe meet, viper meet, etc... is something to show off.
Seeing a bunch of ugly Mazda 3's is useless. "
" my moms old cavalier beat a mazda 3 by 5 cars LOLOLOL <---- pathetic "
" HIDs are prob the only mod on all of those shitbags "
" 1 more thing :
u remind me of a guy i saw a streetracing video once , showed off his distributor and said it was a greddy stage 4 turbo. "
And some of these idiots tend to lurk on the board.

What site did you post in Fonz ????
Untz.ca some teen site, But I thought it would be interesting if I posted it in the Car Forums, since most members are in Peel.
We should invite these idiots to one of our meets, so they can really see our " semi stock shit box " .

Hey fonz, don't let people get to you mang, some people have don't appreciate the same things you might and you put it best, they're simply ignorant. No point getting all worked up or getting into a flamming war with them, just don't go on that board anymore...besides, it takes time away from you being on TM3 anyway:chuckle.

Well the point is, on the internet, there are lots of e-thugs. Not much you can do about it, and responding to 'em just kind of justifieds their sad existence.
At that huge meet last summer, some douche-bags drove by in a tsx and made the comment "you guys drive sh*tboxes". I just kinda shrugged it off and gave'im the bird and continued my conversation.
IMO I just get flammed up like this but it will only last a few mins, I don't stay mad that long, it's just. You respect other people and their opinions about thier cars, but when you post yours, Bam, they begin to rip you up.,

Yeah man, Thanks for the advice.
BTW it was nice meeting you at Wed meet, when you dropped off that sharkfin, I was the guy in the corner with the beige hat on, Not quite sure if you noticed me from that time being, :chuckle

its time to bring all speed3's comeout!!!
those just some amature puks think they all that. American cars are nothing compared to Imports. UGHH hate that!
LOL... all i have to say is the guy in the white 94 civic saying he was boosting at 15 PSI with SOHC with no VTEC.
Convo went like this:
Him: I'm boosting.
Me: Really? Nos or turbo
*silence*
Me: How many pounds?
Him: About 15 for now, but i want it up to 23
Me: Really. I don't believe you. Pop the hood.
Him: I don't pop my hood for anyone
Me: You're lying. Pop the hood
Him: Its broken.
Him: I beat a viper the other day
Me: Your full of it.
Him: Yeah... I don't boost...
Me: I know.
*Rolls up the window... Fonz and I drive off in our cars and park somewhere else*
Oh and don't forget that idoit driving around playing barney music from his car.
People like that give US a bad name. We want to sit around, be lazy, talk about our cars, and not cause shit or honk our horns to melodies of songs while cops are getting their timmies.
I hear ya Fonz, but don't let it get to ya. I know what I want, and I like what I have. I'd rather have a mazda3 over an 89 civic with 300k on it, sawed off exhaust with a campbell soup can. Alot of their cars rattles apart from the $1000 dollar stereo system pumping away... (which is worth more than an 89 civic with 300k on it.)
As for them.... I think buddy in the GT sedan last night started and stopped his car at least 100 times, revving the shit out of it every time. I doubt he'll be driving his moms car for long *hopes to see him broke down at the side of the road*

Yeah, I kind of remember you amongst the huge group, I was only there for a short while, I definitely need to make it out to more meets but the schedule is just way too hectic. But like I said, just brush it off, they aren't worth your itme.
Meh it happens. Everyone has their own opinions right. What are you gonna do.

second mistake was caring what they think.

If its not a car enthusiast site, then the majority of ppl will see ur car as another "cheap" car as there are tons of them on the road. Its simply a method of getting from point a to point b to them with the monetary value used as a prestige value.
Almost guaranteed to be flamed if you're not driving some high end!

Yep, pack mentality. In this case, a pack of trolls. They don't give a rats ass what you drive... they just get a kick out of winding people up.

Yeah man, How about when the guy in his GT came back again, and said the black guy in the civic wants to talk to you about the Mazda 3 club, he just wants to asks you questions.
But that guy last night in his GT was a shit disturber non the less.

Just remember, big expensive cars are for people with small penises.
Driving a mazda 3 is less of a statement in our taste of car, and more as a statement of large-memberisim.

Amen... good call.
I mean, I can appreciate a 1969 Mustang Boss 302, as much as a 2008 Audi R8 as a 2008 Mazdaspeed3.
I love all cars and will respect anyone's car who respects mine.
Fonz... the mystique of the Mazda3 is that most people think they are slow and a momma's car. That Civic Si with his GF in the passenger seat... won't make that mistake again after his attempt to blow past me the other night.

I mostly just get harassed by Mustang GT drivers. I simply remind them that they are driving a $25,000 car that has the same suspension as a $13,000 Yaris and still handles like a shopping cart. =)
Now - all that being said - the stereotypes of people who drive certain cars are often very true!
Example (of the cars I drive):
BMW 528i - I'm a snob
Ford minvan - I'm a dad who's lost his balls.
So what's the stereotype of a Mazda 3 driver?

Hey WW i agree with the M5 but working for bmw i have learned that the last TRUE M5 was the previous version to the new one. The new one is nice but its not an M5 anymore you dont hear the exhaust the way you did in the previous gen. Its got so much sound dead and such a smoothe ride on the inside its gotten to much a touch of luxury sports car. it still accelerates, handles and corners like a true race car but id still take the previous E39 production as apposed to the E60/61 production

Don't worry bro, the next revision of the e60 M5 will have turbo's and up to 600bhp. Powerhouse Bimmer is coming back.

Powerhouse Bimmer is coming back
it will be comming back McGuyvered lol
roughly about 500lbs lighter remove all the fancy interior crap remove all sound dead bare minimum carpet, sport light weight seats not the friggen 100LBS each front seat with automatic seat adjustment remove the huge nav system and put in a double dinn navigation. Unfortunatly the wheels have to stay the same simply because if you go any lighter you will lose tons of traction. replace suspension system with basic shocks and struts apposed to the self leviling corner comfort crap that makes the ride smoothe. born to be a race car should stay a race car. And of course mannual gearbox but thatis already available :)

No idea, but I do believe the car someone drives can show a little about their personality.
I think it shows a hell of a lot of a persons personality. Not only that but its shows their style and how they are in general. That not only goes for cars, but people's homes/rooms, or anything they possess. That's not to say someone with a beat up car is a bum but some people aren't as fortunate as us that have money to spend on on luxuries such as this.
No two cars are the same simply because we all like different things. I may get ideas from other cars but by putting them together my way completely changes the look which shows my personality and style as opposed to theirs.
This leads back to what was said earlier, a car enthusiast is someone that can appreciate their own car (personal style) as well as what others have created (sorry I had to paraphrase cause I couldn't remember who said it, but they said it much better).
People that have a closed mind will never get far.
Sorry for the rant.
