April 19 Cruise - First of the Season

Recentally on TM3 we have been getting great turnout on the Sunday Meets & With the better weather and emergence of new members im proposing a meet and cruise on.

Date: Saturday April 19th

Location Brittania and Terry Fox - Heartland Tims. (in the same plaza as the Rona, Wendy's Scotia Bank) 885 Brittania Rd West, Mississauga On. L5V 2X8

Time: 6pm.

Cruise Plans: A Cruise up Mississauga Road into the Forks Area ending @ Belfountain...estimated time there and back 1 hour cruise starts @ 6 pm ends if all goes to plan 7:30 ish where we meet back to the start location heartland.

We will park out @ the Scotia Bank Plaza and maps will be given its pretty straightforward cruise as there are many signs helping out...... members remember the forks is full of sharp turns and elevations be careful if you are dropped as i will and drive carefully with Class no speeding or immature driving.

Mods feel free to correct, assist me or let me know of any concerns

Alrite i Just Got back From a cruise @ the Forks It Was Soo Fun!!!!But Yeah news to everyone Mississauga Road is closed for Construction So when we go up we are gonna be taking a detour marked by orange signs its really easy to follow and then we will take Hurontario back because i dont want 30+ cars you-turning hahahaha and im gonna have maps as well.. it was an honestly amazing drive especially with a lowered car it feels liek a roller coaster the roads full of curvese and uppppp and dowwwwwwns i love it cant wait for this cruise !!!! =)

Back in my VW cruise days, we used to split the cars into 4-5 smaller groups and give the lead and end car each a radio.

I Wanted to start with something simple thats a good idea for later this year when i get more experience running cruises... We are Cruising and then chilling outside the Tims 18 degrees weather :) on Tim hortons supplied by me :)

I agree, a Niagara cruise sounds like a good idea... but definitely need more notice to organize something like that.

THen again, with gas prices what they are... I don't know how many people will want to go that long of a distance, let alone shorter cruises.

That Was a Sweet Cruise thanks to the peeps that were part of it, we had bloody fingers, radio threats, we boxed in a van and we just looked badass driving through the Forks hope everyone had a good time....the radios were key and we managaed to stay close most of the time... the after meet was sweet too met some new members and chilled out after a nice drive.... defnly gonna run another one in May So get ready for that.... i go to pack now as im off to phllly tmrow outee

Met with alhope34 eating wendys, and Rallyplaya showed up without his car LOL...

He was waiting for us at the scotia parking plaza, so we decided to give him a lift to his car.

Took some pics with us 3, and Fonz showed up. I volunteered in helping Rallyplay add his seat overlays. They look good... We needed a knife and Sudz showed up there after (Met at the wrong location). He had a small swiss army knife, and I decided to use it.. Bad mistake, As I cut the zip tie, I stabbed myself, and... (loss of blood)... Such a group of guys we have here... They offered to help as much as they could, and immediately FONZ got to his car to grab some bandages and first aid. Once that got patched, we met with Stylus just dropping by. We invited him to the cruize and gave him an FRS.

It was a good 6 of us that went for the cruise.
FONZ, RALLYPLAYA, ALHOPE34, STYLUS,SUDZ, DENTE, and I made it to the cruise.

While we started to leave, some Punk kids wanted to race any of us. We ignored them and started our journey.

I had my video camera mounted on my window, ready to take great shots, until battery died... I have charged the camera overnight, but noticed it was on the on position not the charge.. Thought it would charge anyway, but no luck.

Luckily Sudz had a camera as a backup and took amazing shots!!!

During the cruise, some poser in our frequency was claiming he was a cop... FONZ was funny at bad mouthing him as a "loblaws security guard"... Didnt think it was a cop because the poser said change your signal, where cops would usually say "frequency".

Allhope also had comments from a random biker chick. Too bad we didnt have a picture of that.

Got some shots as well, but praying the camera doesn't come off my already injured hand.

Got back from the meet, and met more members.

LOL, had to have been a poser. Cops do not use commercial radios, and their frequencies do not even come close to the ones you guys had.

I'm glad you had a good cruise, hopefully I can make it to some of them in June...
