Here's the how to for the dash strip.

I'm guessing it would be the same for the rest of the pieces.

Its all water sanding, priming and painting. It all takes extreme patience if you want them to come out nice. If you really want them to look professional use a oven (That you dont cook food in!) at a low grade temp to cure the paint.

Depending on the interior part you want to paint, it would require different types of painting process for the paint to adhere to properly. For example, on the mazda 3s, the knee bolster is moulded from PP plastic. This would require you to prime the surface first then bake to cure and finally appling a water or solvent base paint on top. Paint in general will not stick to PP moulded parts very well, weather the paint is water based or solvent based. Your radio/heater control trim is moulded with PC/ABS plastic, you can use
water or solvent base paint and no primer is required for this type of plastic. On most moulded parts, it will tell you what type of material it is. You just need to look on the back side of the part. It will have a stamp on it saying TP/PP or pc, or PC/ABS or ABS. If you need help or have questions let me know. I work in the automotive industry in paint process application for interior moulded parts. :)

No, I have not painted MY (dash) strip.:chuckle I never even noticed one in that car. As far as I remember, I don't even have a dash strip!

Edit: I just went downstairs to my garage to check, and no, I don't have a dash strip, nor have I painted the one on my Girlfriend.
