I love how the train conductors (I'll call them pushers) have the courtesy to make sure peoples coats weren't sticking out between the doors. :chuckle

More and more they are trying to do women-only train cars, but (not surprisingly) men have complained, and (surprisingly) some women have too. Why would a woman complain? Because with so many fewer women on the regular train cars, they get much more attention and are victimized by gropers more frequently.

Most likely they're running the maximum number of trains, just depends on the length of the platforms each station has.

Just hope people don't "cut the cheese" in there.

and I live in Tokyo all the time.

Its not a joke, I've seen subway trains that ARE that crowded/packed during rush hours :P BO must suck during those days...

it does happen, but it's pretty rare. it just so happens that this time they caught it on video.

trains come every 3 minutes or so, and you just have to wait your turn to get on it (with a little elbowing here and there)

Folks, that video is not fake. It does happen in Japan. Im currently in japan witnessing this every morning. however, that video is a little outdated. Apparently the so called pushers.pullers were sued by some people for harassment, and so now they use their own backs to push people in.
Im only here for 3 weeks, but the B.O does get bad, its already hot here and people are sweating... but thats only the best part about it.. for those of you who are taller, will most likely get an elbow in your crotch or rearend, perhaps a head in your armpit....
but if given the opportunity i suggest you go to japan and experien.... i mean witness this phenomenon.
