Threads are showing up backwards...

Okay I tried to play around with the thread mode

according to the FAQ i should be able to switch from oldest to newest and vice-versa

but I tried that and nothing is happening...

I seem to be locked into newest post to oldest...

any way I can fix that or is this is how I have to read threads.

I would prefer the oldest to newest post

Hmm...I had this problem when I first came here too. Have you tried logging out, clearing your browser's cache and then trying to change it in the settings?

Click on User CP on the menu bar.
Click on Edit Options on the left menu
Scroll down to Thread Display Options (3rd box)
From the pulldown menu in Thread Display Mode (2nd option), select Linear - Oldest First
Scroll to bottom of page and click Save Changes

You should be happy with the result:)

had the same problem but i just figured it out through the user CP. its a preference thing but i like it much better with oldest post top first.

Can we put this as a sticky? I had the same problem too until I figured out it was in the User CP settings.
