When I lightly tap my brakes I get this "woooob woooob wooob" (the best I can describe) type of noise. I have EBC slotted rotors, by the way. Are my rotors warped? Or could something else cause this?

Could be pad material... do 2-3 100=>10km/h hard runs (don't fully stop) and see if it disapears... if not it could be warped rotors.

Thanks, I'll try that. Now I have to find a place where I can get up to 100km/h and slow down to 10km/hr. Stay off the highway tonight guys! LOL, especially if you see a carbon gray 3 sedan.

I'll prob try it on some quiet streets.

warped rotors doesn't show up as noise.
You'll feel vibration in steering wheel and brake pedals when you brake at 120km/h.

what pads do you have? "woob wooob"? what tone?

I had that noise when dealer installed new rotors and pads and while they were cold, could that be a problem?

This always happens, cold, warm... doesn't matter.

I feel some vibration at high speeds, I have stock pads.

then it is likely your rotors are warped. When you get them replaced, have the mechanic take a quick look at your pads. If you go to a small shop, their 'extremely brief' brake pad inspection should be free. The shop I went to didn't charge me.

I'm prob gonna replace the rotors myself with the help of a friend. Have to take her to the dealership for my 45km servicing soon anyway, I think brakes are part of this servicing.
