I found this from some other website..

Just follow these steps:
1) Turn your key to ACC and make sure your radio is ON
2) Press and hold the AM/FM and CD buttons at the same time
3) Start Engine
4) After 5 seconds you will see "DIS ON" displayed on your LCD screen
5) Turn Engine OFF
6) Turn Engine ON
7) Press SET (button next to CLOCK) and you'll see your car's trip computer displayed. (press CLOCK to switch back to clock and SET to go to your trip computer)

You'll be able to see all of the functions of the trip computer. (AVG mpg, Current mpg, AVG speed, Miles left 'till Empty).

Your Miles left will reset automatically when you refuel. To reset the others, simply bring the selection up on your display and press and hold "SET" for a few seconds.

Again, this will only work on the '06+ models. '04s + '05s won't be able to do this.

Hope it helps!

All of the GS & GTs already have this. and if I recall correctly this sequence does nothing for the GX.

Someone with an 06 GX, please prove me wrong.

Will this work for the 2008 GT? On the 7th step, I don't have "set" beside the "clock" button, only the "info" button.

You already have it on yours.. don't do it, you might turn it off by accident.

:chuckle Thanks. I found it in our owener's manual too under (6-55 - 6-57).

Pretty neat feature. I'm averaging about 14km/L so far.....still on the tank of gas when purchased.

:blush Trust me, I'm driving very conservatively. The car is not fully "broken" into yet and I am still using the same tank of gas when I first bought the car.

I think it has to do with me jumping out of my car and taking pictures without shutting off the engine.

Well, I'll know better in 1 month's time....

14km/L is actually pretty good. That works out to be about 7.1L/100km. Unless you meant 14L/100km...in which case, cwp_sedan's original comment stands :)

Hahahahaha...yes, I meant 14L/100km. I'm at 13.5L/100kms now. I'm expecting this to greatly improve on my next tank of gas.

it's a great feature but i wonder how accurate it is when it gives you the "Current L/km" reading...anyway even if it's not 100% accurate it's still a good way to get an idea of how much you are consuming when driving at different speeds or in different conditions. And your 'Average L/k' will give you an overall picture of your gas consumption. Yup it's a neat feature!!!

I just emailed the instructions to my BB and went to try.

I can't see how it would work since the '10s don't have 3/4 of hose buttons. :chuckle

No AM/FM button (Separate AM and FM buttons)
No Set button
No clock button

That's for 07-09 GT models with automatic climate control. Unless you had the unit into your car, you won't be able to access those features.
