anyone been keyed before?

well ive had my a little longer than a week, and it looks like ive been keyed, orrr...a long "accidental" scratch down my front left bumper carrying onto my front door. so im not to impressed at the moment. i dont get people

It sucks, I know. I just found out last night that one of my cars has a HUGE (long, deep AND thick) gash stretching from the passenger side front door to the passenger side back door. :rant I almost cried. Unfortunately when these things happen, people tend to just "scratch and run" (for lack of a better term) and then the owners of the scratched car have to pay for the damage themselves or live with it. With me, every time I see that side of the car, the "scratch" screams out at me and will probably continue to torment me until I get it fixed.:complain

yea, well one looks like someone may have rubbed up against the corner of my car, possibly a shopping cart, but i dunno. the other one which isnt far away from the first definatly is a definitive line. kinda frustrating since ive had the car a week and already have scratches.

today i was washing my car and i found 2 3'. 1 on left rear door and 1 on trunk. and for some reason it looks like i got a paint chip UNDER my spoiler. how the hell does that happen? ah well, i just try to live with it. i find touchup paint makes it look weird so imma leave the nice white lines on my black paint

So im washing my car today, and decided to test out the alarm i got installed at audio heaven. (i dont know how they set the sentivity and all). I was pushing the car back and forth and it wont go out. When i lock with factory (press lock twice) a tap on windshield will go off. I was slapping my windshield and jumping on the car (not really but moved it enough).

My compustar only goes off when door is opened/trunk/hood. So im thinking..... what if someone steals my wheels (when i get em) while i sleep?

Should i go back to audio heaven and get them to make it more sensitive or is this what everyone has?

Hi,

The shock sensor is ment for impact not by rocking the car back and forth. It will not set the alarm off if you rock it. Only by hitting it

Arm the car wait 30 seconds and hit it and it WILL go off.

My passat was keyed before i got this car, It was keyed front to back.. All on passenger side. They did 3 runs i guess before they got bored
