mazda 3 aftermarket pedals

i saw someones car with aluminum pedals and dead pedal which had mazda 3 on it. not sure where this came from though, can anyone link me to where i can get these. i like the aftermarket but stock look.

The setup was easy and the quality if pretty good. Been through one year and still look great. It is a U.S. site but when you order it goes to a place in Quebec.

The parts are ordered by them and then shipped to you from a depot in California via regular post to avoid duties or brokerage fees. Took mine 2 to 3 weeks to arrive.

There are many sites that offer these pedals. Ebay had these under different vendors and each time these vendors were ordering from the same depot in California. Remember that the company that bills you is in Quebec.

Are those tough to install? or relatively easy? I know drilling is involved...

Its easy except u need a nice drill for the accelator since u have to drill into metal it can take 45 minutes if u know what you are doing its a do it yourself install

The brake pedal is metal and the accelerator is plastic. Drilling through the metal wasn't that hard but it was nothing like the accelerator pedal. Drilling the brake took me about 20 seconds per hole. Very easy install.

How do they get installed and how do you remove the existing ones? Does it void any warranty?

Read post number 15 and 16 for your answer....

You have to remove the rubber cover on the pedals before you drill.
Warranty - If something happens to the pedals themselves and Mazda says it was due to the installation of the pedals then you void the warranty. Highly unlikely unless you really mess up installing them.

Arg! no edit button still. Wheres a good place to get a dead pedal? I was thinking about going to home depot it since I doubt xeonexpert would be able to sell JUST the dead pedal / I don't want the speed3 dead pedal either.

All there is is a piece of styrofoam under the carpet where the dead pedal is to placed. Because its just carpet and foam, I didn't bother to drill.

+1 for doing the dead pedal by hand. If you use a drill you will probably strip it and the screw won't hold well.

Not that you'r gonna strip it if you use a drill bit smaller that the screw size. Its a PITA to remove the carpet material that wraps itself around the drill bit...

I'm considering the ones from xenon or go wtih Razo Carbon Fibre. I like the dead pedal for the OEM's though i'm not sure if the Razo ones have as much coverage as the ones from Xenon.
