okay, ive searched this forum and m3f. and i keep seeing the same knobs. i dont really like the idea of having a metal knob, becuase winter is 10/12 months here (lol) so, im really looking for something leather, i like the stock leather one that has colour coated. but i cant find anywhere to buy that part.

You should be able to get Mazda parts via Flipdady...
I was thinking about the MS Leather shift knob, as seen here:

I think Jeff (TheBiz) has one of these on his car. At least I seem to recall his shift knob being blue.....
And I am sure that you can order them from Mazda, including via Flipdady who is one of the parts guys at MoT.

And 20% at MoT.... the only problem is that the discount doesn't actually save me any money... I just buy more stuff! :chuckle

Sorry to threadjack, but I went and specifically asked the parts person at the Dave Wood Mazda and they said they didn't do tm3 discounts, only to protege discounts.

Ah, it gives Terry a bump :)
Dave Wood Mazda IS on the list of affiliate dealers that give discounts, see the link I posted in above.
Back on topic (sort of)...
I just put in a TWM SS. Not sure if I like it. The stock knob is 2½" tall. So if anyone else who is knob-shopping and puts a taller knob on a TWM SS, I'd be interested in seeing it in person.

Yes I realized the link you posted there. I'm just saying I went there in person, and they denied having a TM3 discount.

Which parts guy?
theres alot of momo knobs that are universally fitting. I bought a momo (manual) shift knob for 120. and had not too many difficulties installing it; you might need to cut a hole in the rubber cork for it to fit though... so far i love it. (TUBAIR - momo shifter)

Go to two autoslaloms and complete one run at each. Dead last is still a result and you'll save your entry fee costs on the first 2 things you order.
