View Full Version : Got my slotted StopTechs and Hawk HPS today :D

So after a 2 week wait due to delays of various sorts, my Slotted StopTech rotors and Semi-metallic Hawk HPS pads finally arrived today ... I'm thinking they're gonna look pretty sweet behind my gunmetal Tenzo Type-Ms. I won't have time to do the install till the weekend because of exams, but here's a pic of my soon to come brake mods for now ...

Those look familiar. :) Was there a GP or something? I think I just installed that exact same stuff for someone on Tuesday.

no, i have the same pads but different rotors...mine are rotora....i like the look of these better....and the Racing brake ones even more....o well...its just looks and its behind the wheels.

True. As long as its a quality company, a slotted rotor is a slotted rotor. I think they'll look a lot nicer than blanks, that extra bit of sportiness to set it off ... especially once I get around to painting my calipers.

Nice. I've got another like year or two before I have to change my stock pads and discs. I like these though.

Should be good, I love the look of slotted rotors and the black non-swept areas (even around the outside); no rust = cleannnnn look :) I'll put up a review of what I think of the setup once it's on the car and I've driven it a bit.
