+1 on burning gas :)
And "slow" and "mazdaspeed3" don't get along in the same sentence...

have you tried to reset (taking positive of battery) ?

That's what I would suggest also! Just wondering though; When they did the flash did they do the most recent one, or the previous one to that?
...But it could be as simple as the warmer temps means warmer air (less condensed) entering the engine also,....in that case just have to give it time to adjust.

My brother just commented to me that his MS6 is actually feeling faster now that the warmer weather has arrived. This makes no sense but he said he has read the same comments on other MS6 forums.

Last summer my car felt different almost on a daily basis. Damn Mazda ECU. Hopefully the Cobb AP will fix some of this. That and a Meth injection kit. :)

Heat will always rob your engine of some power. That's why intercoolers and colder t-stats help in the performance of your car. Especially w/ forced injection engines, they'll thrive off cold air but suffer more than a NA vehicle when it starts sucking in hotter air temps.
The Grand Prix GTP owners in my old car club used to suffer a lot from summer temps (they were supercharged). A lot of them started running big intercoolers and/or water/alki injection kits to keep engine temps down.
It's a trade off though... if you care about gas consumption, a colder engine will burn fuel quicker.

I was thinking the finnicky ECU needs time to wake up?

Which reflash did you have done?
I felt my car pulling nice and hard today on the way home from work. Feels better than it has in months...LOL
Like others have said, it's probably just karma for playing such a HORRIBLE prank on the rest of us...LOL

ah icic... my car still feels different after the recall I got. I don't know if I can get the dealer to flash it back to the way it was before. Even after the MS CAI I didn't feel a huge difference.

to be honest i didn't feel a "huge" difference with the tbe and that was 30-50hp and tq. obviously you feel it, but the more the car has the less difference 10-15hp makes on the but dyno lol but trust me if you were to dyno it as scc did it would show up as that much on the dyno
