Hey guys,
I washed and detailed my car yesterday, and noticed that when I tried to clean the inside of the rear windshield, it didn't come out as clean as I wanted (still hints of streaks remained). I didn't use any chemicals because of the rear defroster (some says that chems can damage the defroster 'wiring'). I just used a slightly damp cloth...any help would be great. Thanks!

Get some appropriate glass cleaner that won't damage the wiring and you'll be fine. Something automotive. Simple Green Glass is what I use.

Make sure that if you have tints then not to use amonia, as that can ruin them.

Invisible Glass, a couple of MF cloths, spray on the clothes and wipe in the direction of the defrost wiring, Not across it!...try 2 applications....and done.

+1 for Invisible Glass from Stoner's. Best used with an MF towel with a low nap.

whenever i clean my windows, i clean them with windex and a cloth to get most of the dirt off, and then once again, but this time with newspaper to get rid of the streaks.
(newspaper isnt an absorbant, so it doesnt leave streaks.)
