how to change stock wipers?

How about the rear one for the hatch, it's really driving me crazy. I know you can only take the blade off but is there a specific way of doing it because when I tried a little bit of the rubber ripped off..

for the rear you have to hold one end and then force the other end inward to make like a half moon shape. the little metal piece will come out along with the rubber wiper part. slide the old wiper off and install the new. then repeat the one end in and force to make the moon shape to install. I did mine at MOT back in the fall in the rain and it took me a matter of 3 minutes...

Does anyone know if the rubber refills @ CT will fit the rear blade holder on the hatch?
