Is it possible to get them to skip certain parts of the service? My friend is a mechanic and he is changing my rotors, inspecting my pads, and flushing my brake lines tmr, can I just tell them that the work has already been done? Do they always ask for the proof of work?

yea. thats why they make more profit at service than selling the car.
