Location of factory Bose Subwoofer?

I apologize if this has already been answered but I honestly tried searching all the forums. I'm just curious as to where the factory Bose subwoofer is located. Thanks!

That would be pretty tough considering the space restriction, JL has just come out with a new thin subwoofer line the W5!! check it out on their site www.jlaudio.com it might be costly!

Not just the MS3. I believe all the higher-end 3's do.

regular 3 doesnt, i am very sure about this, mine was 07 GT with lux pak, but it doesnnt come with a sub, and not even a boss.

enhance your current bose system w/ BOSE MOD....
it works on the regular 6's and MS6.....and lovin' it~

Wasn't expecting much from this thread but now I'm interested. Anyone tried this on a 3 yet? I'm no engineer, but I understood all the pics by yellowmp5 (great thread BTW!) but I don't know if they match up to the 3's setup...can anyone comment on this?

And how hard is it for someone to make this a "kit"?

in the speed the sub is under the seat and looks like a black box. To get to it I would probably have to take the passenger seat off...in the mazda 6 speed it actually looks like a regular sub from the pics....no?

Also for the 2008.5 it just says additional speakers...not sub woofer...so there I cant really say.. I personally think it's more than loud enough 'as is' in my speed. I use my trunk space a lot and would not afford to lose that space for a sub box...
