Don Mills and Steeles pre-meet for BBQ

This is the roll call thread for the Don Mills and Steeles (behind the Esso) pre-meet and roll out to the Saturday May 10th BBQ.

The BBQ starts at 11am, so I wanted to make the pre-meet at 9:00am and roll out at 9:30am, Saturday May 10th.

The way I want to go is pretty simple. Hit the 404 south, merge to 401 west, then take the 410 north to Brampton. The 410 eventually ends after 10 minutes or so and becomes a rural route called Heart Lake Road. A couple intersections farther and the Heart Lake conservation area will be on the left. Easy enough.


I will be leading and will be following all laws and speed limits.

No. I need to conserve gas now that I'm paying $1.36 a litre. :chuckle

Seriously though, We don't need a line of 10 or more modded/loud cars getting pulled over for 120km/h on the 401 with TM3 decals plastered all over them. Not a good advertisement to the cops. Plus, it is easier to stick together at the speed limits.

Just a quick note for you guys rolling up from the East end, the 410 now extends beyond Bovaird and no longer turns into Heart Lake Road. You're going to have to exit on Sandalwood Pkwy E, make a left on Sandalwood, then a right on Heart Lake Road. Just an FYI, don't want you guys getting lost.

:chuckle because that would mean that I would be driving from Brampton out to the pre-meet to only have to drive back to Brampton and with the price of gas lately, I'm guessing my wallet isn't going to like that. Thanks for the invite though!

Thanks for the heads up. I was going by Google, I've never driven past Queen up the 410.
