I dropped my and a buddy's lancer off at 10am this morning, and showed up for 2:30pm to a nice clean and SHINEY car! They showed me around the car, the did an admirable job on the rims - Got rid of all the yellowing from brake dust and such. I was pleased.

I drove it home, took some pictures, then started to notice discolored swirls on various parts of the car. I promptly drove back to the place, however, it was starting to "spit" rain.

When i told them about it, they said "thats just rain" and i insisted no. I then pointed it out to the manager there, and they started yelling at some guy there, apparently he did an improper job handwaxing it after the clay bar. So they put another coat of wax on. This seemed to resolve the problem.

I am not 100% happy with the results, but its pretty damn good - probably better than i could do, and it was all by hand. The steam clean and carpet shampoo was quite good, my carpets are like new!

I took before and after pictures (though MUCH more after pictures!) I'll post them in the media section and attach a link shortly.

+1 On the pricing. I'm assuming In & Out is the new one at Airport and Williams?

First problem .. they hand waxed it.
Also what kind of "swirls" were you seeing?

Swirls were in the polish coat - Not in paint or clear coat. They didn't totally wipe it off, but it DID have time to dry like that. When they put another coat of protector on it and wiped it off, it got rid of the issue.
It was $168 all in.

I tell ya... It was beautiful to watch the water just drop off my car tonight!

This was at Queen and Kennedy (sorta) in brampton

They probably didn't break down the abrasives in the polish, and then mixed it with wax. That would explain the discolouration.

Got any pics of said 'swirls'?

Unfortunately not. It was weird. you could only see them at an angle in reflected light. It was minor... but "detailing" is supposed to look after the minor DETAILS. lol. So i brought it back and they fixed it up!
