Hi everyone
Back in '05 when I bought my 3, the only option I opted not to take was leather. Well, after regretting that decision for the last while a friend of mine was able to give me a great deal through a detailing place on leather.
Full front/back/door panels, and heated seats with low/high option.
imo looks excellent. I could have been more adventurous and did two tone but decided to keep it simple and just do black.

Looks great! How much did that cost you?
Can you share the details of the shop itself? I am sure many members would like to know more! :)

Looks good, guess you can't do this on 07+'s because of airbags...

well, I'm out in Vancouver BC =P
The place was Westcoast auto detailing, part of the Westcoast Auto group(westcoast mazda etc)
I paid $800. regular is $1000 I believe, with the $50 option for heated seats.
The started up the detailing because apparently so many people buying GS's etc wanted leather, but didn't want to spend so much more for the GT. They did great work. and only 2 days.

Man, I would love to wrap my cloth seats in leather! That is the one thing I wish I had got when I purchased my hatch.

Isn't that even cheaper than from the manufacturer? I think my leather option was a $1000.

I was considering this as well, as one of my previous cars was re- wrapped in two- toned vinyl (... leather was out of my price range :( )

Again, I was going to consider doing this again, until I remembered that I have heated seats... don't think it would work well with vinyl....

Yeah I know. I couldn't be bothered to resize them. I just copied the link from photobucket and slapped it in.
**nevermind, I just realized you were talking about the initial pics in this thread:AH**

Wow, I want exactly THIS in my car. And the price is so good, I thought it would cost a lot more. Heating is only $50 extra? Any chance they have a counterpart in Ontario anywhere? We should do a group buy and make the shop come here for a month.

Very nice.
