You can, but I would suggest going aftermarket. Doing this through Mazda, if they can do it, will be way to expensive. I would PM a couple of our sponsors and see what they can do to help you out.

Actually a dealership can add keyless (aftermarket) to your car, if it has power locks for $200 - $300. YMMV

If it doesn't have power locks, a dealership won't touch it.

do you mean that you want to inst the keyless to non-power door lock system, or you have the power door locks but not keyless ready? the charge for both kind will be big different.

LOL. Are you saying there is no keyless entry that does NOT require power locks? Why not one with some type of mechanical gears/pully system :P

inst the keyless to non-power door lock system.

erm...i don't think that will work. you need power locks in order to use keyless. keyless to a non-power lock doesn't make sense.

I was looking to do the same thing.

You need to get power locks installed first then if you want keyless that will come after.

I was quoted at 250$ for keyless and 100$ for each door I wanted power locks in for the actuators.

Where did you get the quote, from a dealer?

No it wasn't a dealer. I can't remember the name of the place sorry. I remember I was searching on google to find shops that would do it, you can try that.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but dealers won't install power locks or windows.

We don't, we can put keyless entry in a car that has power locks.

But it isn't OEM, it is aftermarket.

inst the keyless to non-power door lock system.

if your car doesnt have power door lock yet, its not worth to install the power door lock system with keyless, its too much. the best way, you can try crap yard to find the hardwares, that will be much cheaper.
