lol.
Well didn't forget just...kind of procrastinated and am shocked that its so close.
Some people suggested spas days to me (other friends) but my mom's not the "maintenance" type of person..she would probably get mad at me for spendin ga lot of money on something thats "useless". (asian pretty traditional)
Any ideas?:.
I've just never been a good gift decider :(

Just get some flowers and tell her you love her.

But the most important part is telling her you love her - and appreciate her.

I find with my mom (asian too), she's pretty content with just a card, and maybe some dim sum. I find as of late, that I'm giving her actual money but making her promise to buy things for herself and not for the home (ie. shoes, clothes). Its not the amount of money given, its the gesture that you're thankful for her!

this year was pretty simple for me, she told me what she wanted, bought it, made me pay her back.
Im going to buy some flowers though.

lol, well its a halmark holiday. so yes i dont care. wheres "son" or "daughter" day?
Maybe too late now but my mom often just points out to me what she wants and asks me to buy it for her LOL. That and took the family out to dim sum today. If traditional Chinese, get a nice fake-flower setting. Real flowers die and just goes to waste unless she knows how to dry them nicely.
i just finished the flower garden and two pots of flowers.
plus dinner, plus a swarovski crystal necklace.

one day of appreciation isn't good enough for the person who gave birth to you... i find mothers day is a waste of time and a stupid idea, same with fathers day
i think hallmark should start dead-beat daddy day

This day won't matter if you don't give a shit about your mom all year long. Show appreciation and care throughout the year and just do something a little more special today. I LOVE YOU MOMMY!
