Hanabi Taillights??? What is that??

Okay. I am stupid and Old. What are these "Hanabi" tail lights that are now coming on the 2008.5 models?

When I was driving yesterday past Dave Wood, I saw a new 3 with weird lights driving by, are these the hanabi tail lights? Can someone send this old lady a pic?

they are the stock taillights that use LED bulbs instead of the regular bulbs for the stop light. the other bulbs are still regular bulbs. you don't see a red and orange lenses inside the taillights too.

The car I saw had what looks like a custom rear end job. I thought that was what it is. See, told you I was old :)

no worries thats what hte board is for.. the Hanabi tails are the ones that are black background.. and have the leds on the newere models or the red/orange reflector on the older ones.... instead of just the solid red lights.

the aftermarket LEDs are probably the same ones on XENON's car.

It was from a distance, and being BLIND lol, could not really make it out. But they looked custom thats for sure
