I know it hasn't been the warmest lately, but how do you propose they freeze the carpet stuck on the car? :chuckle

Goo Gone + lotsa papertowels FTW.

pour water into ziploc bag. Put bag in freezer. wait till frozen then stick it to the gum!

I wasnt talking about freezing the CAR... frig.

If its on the carpeted FLOORMAT put it in the freezer

If its on the actual carpet read this:

When I was a teen I used to work at a movie theatre. There is a spray we used that freezes gum, and it can then be chipped off of carpet. Don't recall what it was called, or where you could get it, but it exists somewhere. I guess this isn't much help!

If you want to freeze it, Just take a can of butane fluid and spray it on the gum. Keep in mind that this is flammable liquid/gas. The safer bet would be goo gone.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but my idiot brother sat in some gum, and then sat in my one-month old car. Now I have white chewing gum ground into my black non-leather seats. I see that goo-gone comes recommended for the carpet, but do any of you know if this will work on the seats? I guess I am just worried about discolouring or damaging the fabric. Any other remedies for gum on the seats?

Thanks.
