What do you guys use for floor mats on yours 3's? I'm looking for some like the new Toyota ones that actually fold back as it will less likely hit the fabric more. I am abit dissapointed in the ones I received.

I have the carpet mats and the winter/all-season rubber ones. Happy with them other than the rubber ones don't cover the dead-pedal area (I have a dead-pedal plate to put there though).

A picture will tell a thousand words they say. I have the rubber ones but I don't think there is enough coverage on them and I was wondering if there were any other mat suggestions...otherwise I might cover paper over them in the winter.

Yeah...I JUST learned about floor liners today and that is EXACTLY what I needed...ugh...now I can't return these stupid pieces of rubber back to them unless I give them heck due to the service I received.

there's notes under the OEM rubber mats saying not to stack them on top of the oem carpet mat. why? i still have mine stacked on top of the regular carpet mats until now because I think the coverage is not enough and so far nothing's getting stuck anywhere. i think it's fine? I even have a faux leather lining on the floor where the carpet is exposed, incl the carpet under the dead pedal. pls don't call me a clean freak :chuckle

The thickness of both, could get in the way of the accelerator.. or cause the accelerator to stay down..
Stack the rest, but only use one mat on the driver's side..

Good point right now I have the fabric and floor mats stacked up on top. Perhaps I shall stack the rest and leave the driver's seat with only the liner. I heard it was illegal as well? I can undersatnd the safety hazard for the driver's side but the passengers?

No worries, I am trying my best to prepare it for the winter. My next thing would be winter tires.

Not sure that it is illegal, but definately safer. In fact they redesigned the AWMs because they caused the accelerator to stick on the MS3 even when they were not stacked.

Smartest purchase ever... just wait until Oct/Nov or you will most likely get over charged.
Simply Tire and Tires23 will have packages available by then

Thanks Biz... it's really far from getting in the way of the accelarator, but I'll listen :) I'll leave the rubber mat since it's easier to clean than the carpet mat :chuckle see you soon when I go for my first service later this week... thanks
I went to CT the day before I picked up the car and bought these...

It fits great. I didn't cut off the excess trim around the mat so it covers probably 95% of the floor or more.
Total noob question I know, but will there be better prices on snow tires if I wait until Oct/Nov? I thought there could be come clearance sales or something like that if I look now.
