So what are all you MS3 owners running in your tires? I've got 40 PSI front and 34 PSI rear. Just makes the front tires look like the back as far as sag. Also get better mileage and the tires are stiffer around corners. I feel quite a difference over the 34/32 factory PSI.

So, I'm just curious as to what others are running.

lol I would not over-inflate at 40psi...I don't even do 40 on the track. It's too much IMO and just makes you slide around corners....I prefer to grip :) I run not more than 38/35 on the track and 34/32 on street. I did run 40 last monday and I was sliding all over the place on the track...taking me off track twice.

I don't really consider 40psi over-inflated, the tires are rated for a max PSI of 50. But that's odd, I feel more grip with 40 up front rather than the 36 I was running before.

I just let some air out. I'll try 35/32 for a while. The fronts still look to sag too much for me, I just don't want the tire to wear on the shoulders.

They are supposed to look saggy. (Just like your grandmother! :) )

The rears don't sag at 32. I guess I'm just still used to my old Probe GT and the Yaris. At 32/32 they didn't/don't sag at all.

At street temps, I'm at 37 - 38 FRONT and 36 REAR. After that much driving, your tires should have warmed up and achieve +5 psi from DEAD COLD temp. Which means at DEAD COLD temp I'm at 32 - 33 FRONT and 31 REAR.

On the stock tires, it's very likely, with as much driving you've done on your tires, that increasing tire pressure (as your tire continues to wear) will increase your turn-in sharpness. However, going up to your MAX pressure on the sidewall is NOT recommended, even at street temps and esp at DEAD COLD. It may also cause premature wear in the centre of your tread and decrease your contact patch.

Running what the manufacturer says to do on the street (34/32 cold). Only been to one auto-x so far but I ran 40/36 hot (which is about 37/34 cold) and chalk marks were about right there... may run a bit lower if the chalk turns out fine. I am on Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1's though.
