Hey guys.. I just commited to picking up a Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser.
I'm just curious about what it looks like all installed in an MS3.
Not I usually don't go asking around for this kind of thing.. but I've search every forums I can and all I've found were installs in regular MZ3's.
Maybe mit-gee-mui can pop in like a ninja with a thread link...LOL

What is that condenser thing? I see it listen in some people's signatures and I don't have a clue what it is or what it does. Could someone please enlighten me?

i have this on my civic. To be honest with you i do'nt feel any hp gains, but i definitely felt the better throttle response.

It's a waste of money! $240 what a jip!! ...A good grounding job would do the same if not better....save your money Al for a trip to your GF's.

Like Kev, I have one in mine...hp gains??? Never dyno'd the car before/after. Better throttle response...yeah..

More info here...http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=44300.0

Its basically a grounding kit and a voltage regulator because of the capacitor.

SSG's price is $180 not 240.

It looks nice in the engine bay though!

Would this be the same unit for the speed? Same grounding points?

Should be the same...throttle body, fuel rail, and strut tower.

I just bought one second hand here in town for much less...
So if anything as a simple grounding system, it's blue (matches my car) and says RACING on it...HEHEHE
Just kidding, i'm expecting a better throttle response and a few mild differences, nothing major and for the price I got it for I couldn't say no.
Anyhow, anyone got pics of an engine bay of an MS3 with this installed?

LOL I recommend.. but PLEASE soeone post the pics of one of these installed.
Honestly I don't know the best points to attach the leads on the MS3.
I've heard the Throttle Body, The Fuel Line and the Opposite Strut Bolt..
I have no clue where teh Throttle Body on the MS3 is (sorry for the ignorance) and where the best place on the fuel line to attach and if there is a spot I can do this from without removing the Intercooler.

Strut bolt? I would suggest tranny instead.

I chose the tranny because i was told to do it. lol... but i did feel my shift was a little smoother and my rpm dropped faster then before. You're going to have to ask the guys to show you where the tranny bolt is.

Did you originally have it on a strut tower before you mounted it to the transmission? Did your RPM drop after the switch?

i didn't mount mine on the strut tower. I did it on the tranny the first time.
I did tranny, throttle body, and valve cover.
