Hey guys,

Installed my springs about 2 weeks ago. I had bought a set of B&G performace springs. From the sounds and looks of it.... most TM3 members are riding on prokits or Htechs. There are a few other spring manufacturers that have been suggested... but i wanted to share with you guys yet another option that hasnt been mentioned. After doing some research... found out that B&G is a reputable german company that makes perforamce springs for BMW and Volkswagen. Anyways they have springs for other cars aswell... and now for the MAzda3. Good for us! The springs drops the mazda3 hatch 1.4 inches all around... dropping the front slightly more due to the weight of the engine. The drop is quite noticeable. Not sure what the specs are for the sedan. The spring is approximately 25% stiffer than stock.

The ride is excellent. I wanted to wait to post this after the springs had settled since i got them brand new. It took approx 1 week to settle. I couldnt really notice if it dropped it anymore. So if it did... it was only slightly.
The suspsension isnt extreamly stiff. I do feel everything on the road though so it does get a bit bumpy and have to watch out for those damn potholes and raised/lowered sewer grates. But i guess that is too be expected when you lower your car. Handling wise... huge difference. Taking on and off ramps is a breeze. The car sticks to the road quite well. A definate decrease in body sway.

Will post pics soon!

For more info on these springs check out thier website.

I Don't have pics right now.. i'll take them ASAP. The ride quality is great, can take corners very smoothly. Got them installed in April 08. Prob have 10,000Km on them. As of right now i have them on stock suspension and struts, but i think i am going to need to upgrade for sure. Hey bud i gotta a question. I have this one problem when i turn my wheels to the far right or left, it sounds like the springs are compressing or shifting around, i think it might be my ball bearing going out. It happens when its in a parked position, when i do a 'U' turn or when i do a sharp reverse turn. This started happening recently so this would be 6 months in. Does this happen to yours?
Nice car by the way, seems like i seen u around not sure but i swear i saw the same ride with the same rims, Where u from?

Yea same. Im on stock struts as well... just wondering how long till ill have to replace them. As for the sound... i know exactly what your talking about. Same thing happened to me. I installed the springs myself and all the bearings exploded as i took it off the stock suspension. Went to my mazda dealership and bought that part. It was pretty cheap. Just replaced it and that noise stopped. Its definately the bearings!

I live in etobicoke... burnhamthorpe an 427 but i work in Mississauga around Hurontario and 401
