Weird.. (No change in remaining km)

So I decided to put some gas since I only had 14 km left.
Go to Esso, swipe my CC and put $10 worth of gas.
Then I turn on the engine.. and WTF? still at 14 km!??!
The gauge shows the samething. No change at ALL..

So I figured the pump was empty and go inside to complain..
and of course.. this guy doesn't believe me.. anyways.. I had
to leave to pick up my wife.. taking gardner and the gauge starts
to go up REALLY SLOWLY.. and the Remaining KM starts to go up too..

By the time I get to downtown from etobicoke.. the remaining km was
at 50. It literally went up 1 km every 2 min..

Maybe it's the high gas price... $10 is nothing..
I am going to a dealer for an oil change.. should i flash the firmware??

you didn't put in enough gas (10 dollars worth of gas, is about 7.87L worth of gas (at $1.27/L). Which isn't enough to cause the KM Remaining to reset itself.

Honestly this was discussed on TV yesterday during lunch hour. It IS possible the pump is screwed up. It was proven before. And the only thing they can do is reimburse you. There were an esso in Quebec that had that happen and got lot's of complains about it. there is a big lawsuit building up about shit like that.

i had the same problem last week

but i was at 30km remaining and i put $10 in and nothing moved so i complain and got my money back

by the time i got home my remaining kms was at 70km
