So after all the talk of how badly my car needed a drop (and believe me it did) it's finally DONE!!! Tein H.Techs on 18x8 ET45 wheels, I only had it done a few days ago (at Street Performance, Jimmy is awesome) so it's still settling, but here it is:

love the drop.... love the rims... not so much the sharkfin.... sharkfins should stay on the sedans imho....

Yeah a lot of people feel that way, I can respect that. The fin flows a bit more with the sedan, seems a bit like it's popping out of nowhere on the hatch, but I still love it :).

good to hear you love it. Thats what matters anyways... do what you want with the car, put a 10 foot spoiler on the car, in the end its what makes you happy.

lol my mod philosophy is classy differentiation. I want my car to be mine, but still look like it could have came that way. I think I'm doing a pretty good job so far ...

I'll be painting my calipers silver with gunmetal 'Mazda' decals next. I think it will still look pretty OEM.

Looks nice, I really like that color and that color of wheels works nice with it. I will say too sorry but not a fan of the fin, they do look out of place on a hatch. Stubby all the way. But still nice ride dude!
oh and loose the rub strips!

/is it already tinted or is that just weird lighting & reflection?

Thanks for the comments everyone, I've thought of losing the side mouldings but I've seen cases on Mazda3Forums where people have done when their cars are a few years old and the colour is off or adhesive stays on the car and is hard to get rid of, just worried about something like that happening if I remove them now (the car is an '06 that I've had since halloween '05).

Oh, didn't see the part about the tint, it's not tinted yet, it's just the reflection, I'm planning on getting it done this summer though, I love the look of dark tints ... not to mention keeping the leather cooler in the hot sun.

Hahahaha, it's too true. Before I dropped it, I looked at it and was happy. Now that I have my drop, there's WAY too much wheel gap at stock height.
Looks great, though. MUCH better.

You're gonna get a lot of responses about looking around the forums if you make many posts like that... There're a few threads about it. I'm sure you can find them...

What size tire do you have on there? It looks like a 215-35-18....
