Hi, curious to hear what everyone feels that at suggested retail what % of margin dealers sell at 8,9 10 % or more.

No one pays suggested retail of course. Just curious........

2008.5 M3 GT "Limited" will be in my hands by Wed next week here in Regina pics to follow yahooooooo approx 29000 plus gst pst with the frt/pdi and tire tax etc, fuel filler door add on, window tint and oh,, oh, wait for it,,,,, wait for it,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mazda window sun shade,,,,, mmmmmm, included.

cant wait, the speed cai and speed exhaust sound great, the luxury pkg in nice also

10000% mark up.

i don't really know but I do know cosmetics especially the high end brands are very profitable with their margins, 200-400%.

if it was true that what was shown to me when I bought mine, then the dealeres don't really have a big markup on the car. i think it depends on the kind of car you're buying. if it's a luxury vehicle, MAYBE there's a higher markup. can't remember the exact figure but i'll say it's not more than 10%.

on a $25,000 price tag average I would guess is $1,500-$2,500. Now where they make their money is warranty and accessories/options.

I could be wrong but that is what I had going on my speed ;)
