Hi guys,
I just watched The incredible Hulk cast and crew screening and I have to say I enjoyed it alot.
I'm not a super-hero type of a guy but the movie was rather entertaining.
The Computer Graphics were simply amazing.. There is this scene that I know for sure is made of 100% CG (including background, surroundings.. sparks, water, etc) and I bet ya you won't notice it.
For those reasons, I'd recommend it to the ones who are looking for a movie to watch.
I just want to share with you some interesting facts about the movie (not spoilers) - for the ones who will watch it!
Did you know.. that the scene which Hulk and Abomination first encounters is entirely filmed on Yonge street?
Did you know.. that the scenes that takes place in university buildings are filmed on University of Toronto Campus?
Did you know.. Big chunk of the computer generated animations are made by a Toronto based visual effects company?
Interesting... huh

I remember when they were filming the Yonge St. scenes because I could see it all happening from my apartment window. There were a lot of controlled explosions & flames shooting out from a large/destroyed movie prop bus. Some of the exterior store fronts on Yonge St., just south of Gerrard were converted to look like New York city. Very cool. I look forward to watching it.
For people who happened upon the area during evening filming, it must have been frightening b/c it looked like a great disaster just occured.

They even did some filming in a hangar behind my company hangar at Pearson last summer. They had a crapload of prop vehicles for the shoot. I don't think I would be able to recognize the inside of the hangar as the doors were pretty much kept shut.
I did however recognize Yonge st from the previews...you can make out the Sam the Record Man sign as well as the Zanzibar sign. Having spent 4 years at Ryerson, I'm very familiar with the area.

Was there any ATV's in the movie? because i wrapped 4 ATV's with white vinyl supposedly for the Hulk movie, not sure on that though, thats what the guy said i was working with lol, i dont know why else someone would want 4 brand new ATV's to be wrapped in white vinyl.

hmm,
maybe its just me but im totally not going to see this movie. it just seems like another one of those emo self-segregation internal power struggle movies. one of the main reasons i hated spiderman 1-3 so much (not to mention that ridiculous back-and-forth relationship bs between the girl and guy)

Yeah...anythings better than the last one. Though no one beats Lou Ferrigno as the original hulkster !!!

The second one gives away the whereabouts on this scene..
Yonge street (between Dundas and College) is transformed to Harlem
