the one time the ap actually gave a read out and the owner launched the car it said 5.3
from a roll should be about a second longer which is what is shown here so if you idle off that is what you can expect yes

on a track with the spray on stick stuff maybe... might need 235/245 tires. not sure i'd trust the ap read out vs. needing real equipment as well

using the "rough" calculation of an HP/0-60 calculator:
0-60 times in sec = Car weight in kg/(Max HP x 0.9)
And a theoretical weight of car w/ driver of 3350lbs or 1520 kg, and using some algebra:
Max HP = 1520kg/(5.3 sec x 0.9) = 318.66 @ flywheel
These are some generally accepted bench-racing concept, so take it with a grain of salt...but it sure looks good at this end! Esp since I may have given the driver less than his true weight... ;)

Car dynoed 274 before ap, based on 10% drivetrain loss that would be 305hp at the crank... so if ap is worth 10 that'd be about right for crank hp

i am afraid to see the result :chuckle... waiting for fmic, fmic map and 93 octane

yeah 93octane maps are a must....
yeah FMIC and that inlet piece pat is gonna sell are just getting you ready for a turbo upgrade :P
Guys guys... stop spending so much money on the car. Pay the car off and buy a different car that you won't need to mod. Like GT-R or something!:chuckle:chuckle:gone
Anyways, I've gotten 5.7 seconds with stage2+, that was just practice run I may be able to pull off 5.5 if I flat shift.
It is really really really hard to launch this car seriously. There was a quote somewhere, 'this car is harder to launch than a rocket'.

This car is pinched at the balls for 0-60 times cause we need 3rd gear to hit it. Let's just imagine what the times would be if 2nd was all we needed :chuckle.
Anywoo: The beta Stage2+(L) map seems to be holding up. I did ask Christian to dial in a little more power :) Does anyone else notice that this car settles a little after resetting / flashing the ECU?

Wow, didn't know this car could actually break lose in first gear like that. And no, I don't mean dropping the clutch. :)

Really? I think mine is broken.
Does it do that when stock as well?
Should be little bit when in stock.
Wow that vid was awesome, that's incredibly fast. It just goes to show that the car need more traction. It would launch like a sucker if it was anything but front wheel drive. hehe.

Stock - sometimes, just find a slightly imperfect road that's a little dusty :chuckle
I lost grip in third a couple times in the last couple weeks by just rolling into it. For those that want power get the CP-E downpipe or a full TB !! :hawt

Heads usually turn because either the driver or the car is weird. :chuckle:chuckle

Stage 3 would be getting rid of MS3 and getting an STI.
