Trip Computer on 04'

Soo Mazdas 04 and 05 didn't have trip computer ...
What i heard u can put radio from 06+ in 04 and 05 and trip computer will work anyone did it ?

All the radio's are interchangable....

BUT

You won't be able to get a trip computer. The computer is integrated into the harness which isn't easily or cheaply replaceable on the 04's.

The only reason to switch out radios would be for the MP3, Minidisc or 6Disc version.
