Probably somebody already asked something like this before. I just bought a new Mazda 3, tried to connect my mp3 player. I put the wire fully in and get only half of the speakers working. Pull the wire out a bit, get full audio. It's hard to keep the wire in that position though. I am thinking it's the wire that is not made for that particular aux jack. If it is so, what kind of wire should I get???

I got mine at Best Buy for like $12. I thinks it's RCA. It's a blue cable and it seems to work well.

There's something odd w/ the connector that is used in the car itself. It seems to be shorter than the male end of the aux cable.

PFT... I've had that problem one too many times... :chuckle

Try a different connector and see if it happens again. If so, then it is a problem with the female end. If that’s the case, you can try and get a warranty repair as it is defective.

My AUX jack works fine with the cable I bought but I find the sound quality to be very sub par. There is this constant humming noise in the background that you can clearly hear. The sound is less noticeable on the noisier songs that I play, but in any slow indy song the buzzing is unbearable.

+1 best $30 I ever spent. Ground Loop Isolator FTW!
