I have developed a really annoying rattle inside my passenger door of the 04 Sport GT. If I reach over and pull slightly on the door handle it goes away. I tightened the screws I could get at to no avail. How hard is it to remove to door panel to look for loose things? I took out the screws that I could see and pulled a little but nothing. I don't want to break anything.

MGM where are you? :chuckle

Its pretty easy to remove the panels two screws I recall and pull on the panel from the bottom, search for stereo installs~some show the process pictured.

A lot of members complain about rattling though,

so you may not find a fix.

Thanks for the replies! The secind link that leads to something from Cardomain looks like it leads through it quite well. Time to get to work.

Thanks again.

there are two screw to removing the door panel one by the door handle the other by the door release/locking tab. The black triangle panel by the side mirror just pops out. Working from the bottom up the rest of the door panel pops out too, just need to becareful not to break any of the clips that hold the door panel in place.

If you happent to have an aftermarket sound ystem or you like to listen to the music loud with the bass pumping then i would check the tightness of the speaker screws i just recently found that my speakers were rattling the screws out and my bass is turned all the way down in my speakers. My fix was put longer bolts in the speaker wholes and no more rattle :)

Good call, I guess I have to make a trip to Home Depot this weekend.

Sometimes the bolts in the window sissors become loose from slamming doors to hard. Ive seen this with many cars. Just something to think about if you find the noise isnt coming from the door handle once you get it checked on.
