Difference between 2007 MS3 vs 2008.5

Dear friends,

My dealer has a 2007 MS3 demo for sale. Is there a major difference between a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 vs 2008.5 (besides the financing options) ?.

I am in Montreal (if ever this makes any difference in the cars sold here).

Another thing to consider is that the 08.5 has had some issues worked out over the 2007. There are TSBs out for the problems with the 07 and they are fixed but it is something you don't need to worry about getting an 08.5.

thats true, but some of the 2008.5 have problems with the bose system

I have a new 2008.5 MS3 with a May 2008 manufactured date and have no issues with the Bose system whatsoever. I have even tried to replicate the "cut-out" behaviour and simply can't. Not sure if mazda fixed this problem in the factory on later 2008.5 models, whether the dealers proactively addressed it, or whether my Bose unit just wasn't affected.
