No. Get a TWM or Mazdaspeed if you want a STS.

Unfortunately no, they have different linkage.

Hotness. I'm interested to see how this compares to the TWM SS. It doesn't look like it sits much shorter, hopefully the throws are shorter tho.

Yea it is.. and of course the throw is shorter, otherwise it wouldn't serve a purpose. Not being an ass, just filling in.

my 2 cents: I still have no idea why any one wants a shorter shift stalk in our car?

and these are the reasons:

1. with a shorter shift stalk, your elbow might hit the armrest when shifting...visualize this...
2. shorter shift stalks are usually used by RWD cars with a TALL centre tunnel for the prop-shaft...with this setup, you can REST your elbow on the higher armrest area when you shift (bad driving technique, but looks good cruising...)
3. you WANT the SHORTEST distance between the shift knob and the wheel so you can get your hands back on the wheel after a shift as soon as possible (the 240SX is famous for having a close distance between the shifter knob and the steering wheel for obvious reasons)

Personally, when I install this piece, I may even adjust my shift stalk/knob UP to decrease the current knob/steering wheel distance...think rally cars and touring cars...there's a reason why their shift stalks/knobs are extended from the floor up to right beside the steering wheel...I'll still appreciate the shorter throws, which I believe is the only benefit of a short shifter...

But to each his own...I tend to drive with both hands on the wheel...

i was talking about in relation to the TWM SS. Someone from Cobb mentioned the pic of the STS in the car is about as low as it'll go, which doesn't appear much lower than the TWM. I do feel the throw on the TWM still isn't that much shorter than stock, so i'm hoping the Cobb will do the trick.
