Just wanted to post a few pics of the instal I got done during the weekend. For the most part im very happy with it. My only complaint is the little gap between the climate controls and the dash kit. I gotta go to Lowe's tomorrow though, to colour match the silver from the original headunit. When I take the kit out to paint it, im gonna try using some double sided tape or somthing to try and close the gap. Cause if you push up on the climate controls the gap closes. Is there anyone here that has a dash kit installed that could maybe give me some advice ona good way to fix the gap? Thanks alot!

You should get the pioneer bezel, temp bezel covered in CF by compact divisions or whatever? That would flow real nice.
looks quite good actually.

Thanks for the compliments guys! :)
Sorry I've been really busy the past couple days so haven't had a chance to take any pics of it closed yet. I will take some tomorrow when im done work though.
As for 'cosic' what you said about the Pioneer bezel. I'm not sure I know what part your talking about. Do you mean the whole dash kit or just the little trim around the deck? The carbon fiber does sound like a good idea though.
Also for the question '--StayFly--' asked about my key. Yes I can still use it, but I dont cause my remote starter is also an alarm. If I just look it with the key it just arms the factory alarm.

Hey, here's a pic of it with the screen closed. Sorry didnt post earlier as I was at the track all weekend and got burnt like a lobster so I was exhasted. I was actually very impressed for my first time out to a track though. With a totally stock engine, my best run was 13.5 at 99mph. Averaged around 13.9 - 14.1 all day though.

Looks pretty good, how is the LCD mounted ? did the dashkit give you special screw to mount that?

I actually had my work do the instal for me. I work at the Best Buy in Woodbridge. With the way the original kit comes, you can not put the lcd back in. It has a peice of plastic at the top which sticks up blocking it. So they had to do some custom work for me. I think they cut the peice of plastic off and then used somthing to mount the lcd and keep it in place. All i know is it looks perfectly stock. Still havent got it painted to match yet though.
