Hey everyone,

Sorry if this topics been covered in the past, I will do some searching of my own a little later on tonight when I,ve got some more time to myself.

As the title states, I am looking for a one stop shop to take care of some cosmetic needs.

I'm actually asking for a friend who had asked me about improving the appearance of his 4 door mazda3 (about an 06). He's looking for a bodykit, rims and rubber and shocks and springs. Just a place to have it all done with no B.S.

He stopped in at Pit Stop at yonge and steeles and they quoted him 4 Gs for the above mentioned. I told him it was a little pricey and he could get it done much cheaper. So that brings me here.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. North York, Markham area would be prefered.

Thanks for your time,

Willy

Well $4k isn't that bad. Consider the following.
body kit $1k (assuming)
paint with install $600
rims and rubber $1k
shocks and springs with install $1k

so it comes to $3600. That is just an estimate because the type of tires, type of body kit, type of rims will cause the price to change.

A one stop shop? I'm not sure of any decently priced shops that can get you parts and do installs. If you or your friend are interested in parts check out Nextmod (Supershyguy) and other forum sponsors (like Simply Tire for rims and rubber). SSG can refer you to a shop(s) to get your installs done but a lot of us go to Street Performance for our installs.

Check out the market place on this forum for parts, also there is a sub-forum for shop reviews.

I agree. Peter SSG is the man to go to. He can have everything ordered for you and ship to the shop and you can go directly to the shop and have it all installed at once.

thxs for the tips guys.

I thought 4k was pricey cause alot of things you see on line from the u.s. usually costs a little less and i actually thought some used parts might be alright.

lower end rims and replica rims usually go for around 100-200 a piece and the kit i figured about a 1k installed and the lowering i was thinking 6/700. so yah i guess close to 4k but more like 3.

are there any rims and kits anyone can reccomend? both to look at and/or to stay away from.

thanks guys,
Willy.

When you say kit, you mean just a front lip or a full lip kit or body kit? becuase $1k installed is very hard.

^^ Yup. Once you add the cost of paint and any brackets it adds up. For the kit, your friend might want to get it in stages. Lip and/or rear; then sides if he's looking for a full kit.

imo the car looks pretty good the way it is. maybe a little lower to give it a more aggresive look with some wheels will do it. i'm going to get my friend to navigate through this forum and see what he can put together for himself.

the idea of starting with small parts sounds like a good idea.

actually picks of lips and skirts or any suggestions would be nice.

thanks again,

Willy
