Would like recommendations for a subwoofer please.

I have a 2008.5 and it came with BOSE sound system. Now, if you're here to bash the name, please go else where to do that. I think the speakers are ok sounding but the stock sub lacks punch. My budget would be around $100-$200. My friend can get me staff price from Best Buy so please take a pick from their website: http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/dept.asp?logon=&langid=EN&catid=20117

Few questions:

1. Should I go with JBL or ALphine? 10" or 12"? How many WATTS is good?

1. Should I also get a housing at Best Buy as well?

2. Where to get it installed?

3. Since I'm upgrading the sub, should I upgrade the amp as well?

As for sub size, it depends on your musical taste, 12" for louder 10" for tighter.

As for the box just make sure its the right size for the sub you choose.

Go to a quality install shop for install.

From listening to others Bose systems, I would definitely suggest you get a dedicated amp for the sub, as the Bose system power is lacking in that area.
Also disconnect the Bose sub, as it tends to clash with second sub, just ask ALHOPE.
