Okay, I am racking my brains trying to find a good iPod docking station/speaker set.

Here is the criteria:

1) Reasonably good sound, I don't need it to be portable and it can be as large as a mini system/shelf stereo.

2) I'd like to keep price to a max of about $200, but I'm willing to spend more if it'll get me a much better unit.

3) Must have built in digital radio tuner.

I've looked at stuff from Logitech, Altec Lansing, JVC, Panasonic, Sony, etc.

I was set to buy a Sony Micro System ( http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10101289&catid=23256 ) but when I went to see it I wasn't impressed with the fit and finish. It may still be what I end up getting but I was hoping somebody here had a system to suggest that might be better.

Any help is much appreciated.

A friend of mine bought (but subsequently returned for some reason) a logitech mini-system. I can't remember the model number, but that thing sounded really good even cranked up, solid design, compact (if you cared about that), and its rechargeable.

I think I know which one your friend bought, and if so, I want something a little more robust sounding.

Thanks though, keep the suggestions coming.

I have an IHome IH6, and it's great. FM/AM radio, clock, preset buttons. Sounds great and also comes with a remote. Check it out.

The BOSE one sounded nice, I tried it at Future Shop one time.

Yeah, it is definately one of the better sounding ones out there, but I just can't justify spending upwards of $300 on it. For about $50 more I can get a brand name home theatre in a box with iPod dock and I'll be getting five speakers, sub, dvd player, etc.
