squeaky brakes

this may be a stupid question...

after my car has been parked for a few hours... and i start driving... my brakes will squeak for a few minutes and then the squeaking will go away. Do i need my brakes replaced? I only have 34000km on them...

If you are still on OEM brakes its Normal, get used to it :chuckle

at 34000kms I wouldn't think so at all. Unless you are SUPER hard on brakes. Mine don't squeak. Could be just dust build up and once you use them a few times it cleans it so to speak.

Thats what i assumed too... it happens when they are wet also and then i brake a few times and it dissapears

I had the same problem with the stock ones especially after the rain. "Could be just dust build up and once you use them a few times it cleans it so to speak." - that was the main reason, but after I changed rotors and rear pads any kind of noise has disappeared. Btw, if you have only 35K on your car do not even think about the change unless you wanna upgrade yours ones.
